Overview of Maximizer™ Product Line

The Production Maximizer™ Gas Lift Compression Optimization Skid – Reducing Shutdown Events and Methane Emissions

Liftrock Integrated Lift Services was founded in 2016 with the goal of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of gas lift operations and reducing its environmental impact. The initial step towards realizing that goal was the development of the Production Maximizer™ Gas Lift Compression Optimization Skid (formerly known as the QuickSet™ Gas Lift Compression Skid), which represented a significant advancement in compression control technology.

Today, the Maximizer is available in several versions in order to provide the best match of control skid to the customer’s gas lift application.

With technology proven in over 300 oil wells, in 55 locations, Maximizer gas lift optimization systems are proven to:
  • Reduce compressor shutdown events on average by 87%
  • Eliminate 100% of fugitive methane emissions
  • Reduce Net LOE per barrel

Production Maximizer™ Gas Lift Compression Optimization Skid

The Maximizer™ Gas Lift Compression Optimization Skid is a patented*, fully integrated, easily installed system designed to significantly reduce compressor shutdown events, eliminate fugitive methane emissions, and significantly cut facility construction time and costs. In addition, some Maximizer models can eliminate the need for liquid-dump methanol line injections and scrubber dumps, leading to lower maintenance and increased facility uptime.

Maximizer™ Benefits

The Production Maximizer™ Gas Lift Compression Optimization Skid provides a number of benefits, each contributing to the reliability and environmental performance of any gas lift compression operation. These benefits include:

Reduces Compressor Shutdown Events

The Maximizer system is designed to prevent line freeze-ups and shutdowns while eliminating liquid-level shutdown events, compressor scrubber dumps, and the requirement for associated methanol line injections. The result is more uptime, higher production, and reduced maintenance costs.

Cuts Facility Construction Time and Cost

The Maximizer is manufactured in a controlled QA/QC environment, reducing the time required for setup and the potential for on-site construction problems. More than 90% of interconnecting piping joints are completed prior to delivery, requiring significantly less piping installation on-site. Safety risks are minimized, time and costs are reduced, and operators can begin production sooner.

Stops Methane Emissions

Maximizer models can capture up to 100% of fugitive methane emissions typically associated with gas lift compression operations, repurposing all captured gas as fuel and injection gas. This capability allows operators to eliminate an average of 9.125 MMSCF of methane emissions per well per year.

Some Maximizer models can also capture methane emissions from packing vents and pneumatic valves, eliminating those key sources of emissions. In addition, the Maximizer models can also capture methane emissions resulting from compressor blowdowns.

Eliminates the Need for Liquid Storage

The Maximizer’s natural gas liquid processing design also eliminates the need for natural gas liquid storage tanks at the gas lift facility. All gases and liquids are processed within the Maximizer skid itself, so there is no need for liquid storage, eliminating the risk of liquid tanks leaking hydrocarbons at a gas lift facility.

Adds Revenue from Captured Gas

By reusing captured methane as fuel gas or injection gas, Maximizer skids increase monthly gas volumes, which could potentially add revenue to the bottom line.

Generates Monthly Compressor Performance Report

The Maximizer’s built-in telemetry reports record compressor performance in detail, along with methane emissions, VOCs, and HAPs (hazardous air pollutants) captured. These reports also detail fuel gas, fuel makeup gas, and total gas captured, providing daily and monthly totals.

Reduces LOE

The Maximizer adds value through improved uptime, fewer maintenance events, higher production, and increased gas utilization.
